 1. People believe it is a curse or a punish from God.

 2. They are perceived as intellectually handicapped or mentally retarded.

 3. People think they do not die.

  4. They think their body parts are strong medicine hence they end up being abducted and killed.

  5. People believe they bring luck to their families.

  6. They are seen as being inclined towards evil and witchcraft.

  7. Some believe that individuals with albinism are unable to go outdoors or spend time in the sun.
